Section Leadership

Caleb is an Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor member of Wihinipa Hinsa Lodge in Bay Area Council, where he formerly served as lodge chief. An avid Sea Scout from Ship 468 Triton, Caleb is working towards the rank of Quartermaster as he teaches Scouts about seamanship. With a long and varied Scouting career, Caleb’s favorite training event is the National Leadership Seminar, which he had the honor of staffing at last year’s course in Houston, TX! He has participated and staffed NYLT for several years while additionally graduating from Sea Scout SEAL program in 2022 with outstanding marks. Caleb is a sophomore at San Jacinto College and dabbles in entrepreneurship by running his own Esports Organization. His favorite color is a classic Sea Scout blue and he spends his free time with his cat Finn or adventuring with friends.

 

Otto Havens is the current Section G2 Vice Chief and is working on an associates degree of applied sciences at Lone Star College. He is an Eagle Scout working on the Summit Award. Hailing from Colonneh Lodge he was the chapter chief of Iron Horse Chapter in 2021 as well as the registration chair and a trading post chair for several years for the lodge.

 

2024-2025  Section Secretary

Dustin McAdory is an Eagle Scout, Sea Scout, and Vigil Honor member from Colonneh Lodge, Sam Houston Area Council. Dustin is also serving as the 2024 Vice-Chief of Inductions and previously served as the 2023 vice-chief of service, 2022 north area chief, and 2022 NOAC contingent chief for Colonneh Lodge. Dustin has also served as NYLT SPL for SHAC 23-1 in 2023 and received the James E. West Fellowship Award in 2022. Outside of Scouting, Dustin is a senior in high school and plays trombone in his school band.

 

Mark has been involved in scouting for over 20 years, serving in numerous roles, from Tiger Leader to Scoutmaster to Section Adviser. He is currently a member of Colonneh Lodge in Houston, Texas. Mark is a Vigil Honor member, Silver Beaver, and Founder’s Award recipient. Mark is the former Lodge Adviser for Colonneh Lodge. In addition to serving as the Section Adviser, Mark serves as the Camping & Outdoor Program Committee Chairman for the Sam Houston Area Council.
